Starting a Beauty Career: What I’d Do Differently
If I were starting again, I’d choose my training more carefully.
I’d begin with one treatment I enjoyed and choose a course with hands-on practice, small classes and support after training. I’d also check what was included, such as a kit, model and help with case studies.
Most importantly, I’d allow time to practise. Confidence grows through experience, not just from gaining a certificate.
I’d also consider the business side early, including product costs, treatment times and pricing.
You don’t need to learn everything at once. Start with the right course and build your skills from there.
At Love Beauty Training near Taunton, Somerset, I offer practical beauty courses in small groups and one-to-one, with ongoing support. Explore the courses or get in touch for advice.
